What is Energize into Autumn?
We’ve created a series of six consecutive weeks of orienteering events around Launceston. No experience is necessary; we have courses for all abilities.

New to orienteering?
Come and try; your first event is free!

When?
Thursday 26th Feb 2026. Start any time between 4 pm and 6 pm.
Newcomers: We recommend that newcomers arrive early to give you the most time possible!

Where?
First Basin

How much does it cost?
Your first event is free!
Adults: $12 per event
Children/ Student/ Concession: $6 per event

What to bring?
Just bring yourself! Wear something comfortable to walk or run in. We have equipment to borrow and friendly volunteers to help you when you get there.

How to enter?
Pre-entry on Eventor is preferred. This helps us know how many maps to print to ensure you get to do the course you want. Link here.
Enter on the day is available if you haven’t entered on Eventor, talk to our friendly volunteers on the day.
Newcomers: Just turn up! Your first event is free so just come and talk to us at the event.
